Anna Masiota

Anna Masiota is an attorney at law with over twenty years of experience in conducting court proceedings. Her practice centres on family law, succession and civil disputes, including real estate matters.
Cases with an international element, particularly cross-border ones, form an important part of her professional work.
She works regularly with a number of respected foreign law firms. She is also listed among the lawyers recommended by foreign diplomatic missions in Poland.
She is a member of the Union Internationale des Avocats (International Association of Lawyers), based in Paris. Within the organisation she is active in the Institute for the Rule of Law (IROL), serving as Director of the Rule of Law Section. She also belongs to the UIA Family Law Commission.
She represented the Polish Bar Council on the CCBE Training Committee (the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe) and served as a Council of Europe expert under the Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals programme, which supports the practical application of the European Convention on Human Rights and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights. She has also worked with the World Bank on the "Women, Business and the Law" project.
She regularly takes part in training courses, lectures and conferences, including abroad. Among others, she completed a course in French law organised by the Paris Bar, as well as numerous specialist courses, including in private international law, at some of which she appeared as a speaker.
Scholarship holder of the Università degli Studi di Macerata in Italy and of the French government. She took part in seminars and lectures at German universities: Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg and Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg.
Master of Laws and Master of International Relations (European studies - European law, economy and culture) at the Faculty of Law and Administration, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
Member of the Bar Association of Wielkopolska.
